A blockchain and crypto conference that will for sure stir a lot of controversy. Not because of the content, but because of the place where it’s going to be held. Let’s talk about it.
MONDAYS WITH RONNY
It’s not a surprise to see countries like North Korea getting into the crypto space now as well. We’ve seen it before with Venezuela, with Cambodia, in other countries, and I think, we would see a lot more countries doing this in the future.
Now, as we know that the financial system, over the last couple of decades, have not worked for every country around the world. A lot of countries are being depressed, a lot of countries are having problems with their national currencies.
Cryptocurrency offers a way out. The current financial system has proven not to work for these countries. So obviously, they need to do something substantial to change their situation, and cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies are offering a very good chance especially for these kind of countries to make a huge leap forward and catch up with the rest of the world.
So I think the focus needs to be on starting the conversation, of how a global financial system can be rewritten using blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
I think there are huge advantages for governments to do that, not just being more cost effective, but being more efficient, being faster, and being more fair to all parts of the society.
So I would support and we do support with Ducatus all the governments that are speaking out and wanted to go the way of blockchain for their governments.
Over the last couple of months, I’ve been meeting with various heads of states, with the President of Mongolia, with the President of Kazakhstan, we’ve been invited to speak to senior officials of the government in Dubai, we are trying to find ways how we can work together with governments to write regulations for the cryptocurrencies, for the blockchain technologies, and we are willing to help with all the people that we have in our team, with the knowledge that we have, and the expertise, as long as governments are opening up to blockchain, as long as they are writing the regulations, Ducatus will be at the forefront and be one of the first players to come and sit down with officials.
